concrete

concrete develops concepts.
we develop them in architecture, interior design, urban development and brand development.

concrete unites people.
we work with a team of 46 multidisciplinary creatives as architects, interior designers  and visual marketeers to help businesses and institutions.

concrete loves provoking, confusing, philosophizing, scale models, haute cuisine, burgers, and (most of all) shattering dogmas.

concrete provides solutions.
no grand theories or abstract ideas. just things that work.

concrete likes to let the work do the talking.

In developing Amaison, the new delicatessen shop
by caterer Maison van den Boer, concrete went back
to the company’s origins, in which the emphasis was
on the fundamentals of food. concrete developed a
literal interpretation of the essence of Maison van den
Boer: being in grandmothers kitchen, preparing
traditional meals, or watching the cooking process,

tasting food and taking it home. The design resulted in a
house-shaped building block, the core of every element
in the Amaison concept. Using this building block,
concrete created a pattern that repeats itself in a
variety of materials and dimensions throughout
the interior, including the logo, wall and floor tiles,
furniture and food products.
