concrete

concrete develops concepts.
we develop them in architecture, interior design, urban development and brand development.

concrete unites people.
we work with a team of 46 multidisciplinary creatives as architects, interior designers  and visual marketeers to help businesses and institutions.

concrete loves provoking, confusing, philosophizing, scale models, haute cuisine, burgers, and (most of all) shattering dogmas.

concrete provides solutions.
no grand theories or abstract ideas. just things that work.

concrete likes to let the work do the talking.

Inspired by the graphic design story of Studio Lava
for THNK, concrete designed a series of multifunctional
furniture items to contribute to the identity of the new
creative business school. THNK’s philosophy (“there
is no ‘I’ In we”) is translated into ‘i’-shaped benches,
worktables, stools and bar tables. The furniture
elements, coloured red, blue, white, and black,

overlap each other and are placed in the middle of
the central space to form the THNK logo. During
the day students and teachers can move the furniture
anywhere they want to rearrange their own ‘classroom’,
and park them back in the logo position at the end of
the day. The various heights of the furniture give the
coaches seating suitable for any type of lesson,

active or relaxed. In addition it’s easily imaginable
to realise a THNK classroom anywhere in the world
due to the flexibility of the furniture.
