The citizenM hotels don't have lobbies, they have living rooms, fitted with technology to make life easier. They offer free, super fast Wi-Fi throughout, one minute self service check in and check out terminals, with touchscreen tablet controlled rooms. The bar and self service café (canteenM) are open 24/7 for the most jet-lagged of citizens, and the friendliest staff (called ambassadors) are always on call to help with check in and check out, cocktail mixing, or caffe latte art.

Each room has a custom designed MoodPad that controls the space and all its features. Forget difficult-to-find switches, the tablet handles everything from the colour and intensity of the lights to the temperature, the blinds, even the TV and an unlimited amount of free movies. Next to that, it's possible to stream your favourite content from other devices to the TV.

At citizenM you don't waste precious time during check in or check out, trading the unnecessary hassle of filling out forms at desks for a fast and friendly digital experience. The friendly ambassadors are always there to offer assistance if needed. Check in takes 60 seconds, check out just 30; your receipt will be waiting in your inbox as soon as check out is complete. Room keys are RFID cards that double as a payment method at canteenM, and as a luggage tag on your way home.
