concrete designed the concept, name, interior design and total identity of happyhappyjoyjoy; a restaurant which represents an eclectic mix and conglomeration of different streets and alleys, packed with rich colours, textures, prints, lights and different seating areas with smoking woks and steamers in the background.
This third location is designed in collaboration with JPS Architecten. The restaurant is divided into differtent zones with a cental island bar and open kitchen in the middle. In front of a long container wall are seats with lazy susan turntables. In the back rooms, there is a cooling room for drinks with a photobooth, a red dining room covered in the iconic poster wallpaper, and a green private dining room, that also serves as a library or even karaoke space! For every need and for every day: happyhappyjoyjoy.

From the name to the script font to the red neons and floor-to-ceiling poster walls, the identity design creates a unified experience. Every detail, including multilingual lightboxes and interactive origami placemats, strengthens happyhappyjoyjoy's vibrant energy.
