The hotel claims its spot in this busy street with the spectacular lighting above the porte-cochere. The driveway is cut into the otherwise straight facade, creating a more private and quiet zone, while the warm light adds a layer of cosy luxury to this outdoor area. The roughly 3600 single bulbs are arranged in a grid on glossy brass panels doubling the impact and giving the light an extremely warm feel. Each light bulb can be controlled and dimmed individually to create a super-sized screen for animations. The entrances to The Lobby and The Event Space can be found on either side of the porte-cochere. The rear wall features glass with a matte gradient that turns transparent around eye height to allow a glimpse into the busy life of the restaurant's show kitchen.

Guests check in at the bar and are welcomed with champagne, inviting them to relax and mingle in the lounge rather than disappearing straight to their rooms. The long, rectangular space is structured by three main brass elements: two identical square fireplaces and a circular reception and bar island. The chimneys are clad in large brass panels, while their dark grey limestone bases are partially covered with cushions to create casual benches where the flames reflect off golden back panels. The circular reception features two onyx counters wrapping around a core of full-height brass tubes that conceal the front office. A floating black oak bar top with brass edges seamlessly connects the informal front reception counter to the heavier, solid bar counter at the rear.
Informal yet luxurious seating arrangements sit around the fireplaces, highlighted by low-hanging Tom Dixon golden pendants over the first and a gold-leaf ceiling recess over the second. Custom patchwork green rugs mark the furniture setups, and a massive bespoke leather couch spans the rear wall beneath large-scale artworks. An anthracite limestone floor in a chevron pattern runs throughout the space, extending to the outdoor driveway to form a seamless connection. Both sidewalls are wrapped in sheer curtains; along the facade, they dim the busy street while sparking curiosity, while the inner sheer hangs before a full-height mirror to make the lobby feel wider and lighter. This inner curtain is intersected by three black wooden frames housing the lift doors and a dark tunnel with soft seating niches that leads to the library
The Library is a place to withdraw from the buzz and have a moment of peace and quiet with a book. Symmetric white wooden panelling along the ceiling and walls structure the rectangular library, with shallow bookshelves along the long sidewalls displaying a selection of books with the covers facing the space to resemble works of art. In contrast to the white ceiling and walls, the floor is realised in dark walnut, as is the long communal table in the centre. Seating in black leather provides a calm level of luxury. The counterpart to this symmetric layout is a chaotic and random cloud of AIM pendant lamps designed by the Bouroullec brothers for Flos. The facade of the library is fully realised in glass with two large doors that open towards the garden. The same rectangular footprint continues in the landscape architecture, and is framed by a half-height wall to create an intimate outdoor space.

RED is a hidden gem that only insiders will know how to find. Behind a hidden door in the shelf behind the bar, it features a 'classic club' setting, submerged in scarlet tones, red wood and soft red panelling. Designed as a "whiskey room," the fully programmable illuminated cassette ceiling can transform the elegant space into a mesmerising private club. Seductively, it makes guests lose track of time and place, invites them to stay longer and be surprised by what the evening may bring...

IZAKAYA Munich is a unique mix of the ethnic feel of a Japanese inspired restaurant and the modern, sleek but elegant Hotel Roomers. The Japanese stand-alone restaurant, located in the building of Hotel Roomers, announces its presence to the guests at the moment of arrival, with the show kitchen visible through the glass facade of the porte-cochere. The restaurant itself is composed of an array of black materials, with a contrasting feature of light wooden lamellas along the ceiling and wall towards the kitchen.
"The hotel rooms themselves are layered creations of spaces that interact yet separate themselves by sheer curtains and furniture elements. They feature a series of scenes, or suite en suite en suite, with glimpses into the consecutive spaces. The absence of solid architectural walls makes the room feel as one large unit, while the use of sheer, shelving, glass and mirror creates enough separation and privacy to trigger seduction."
The hotel features 281 extravagant rooms and suites ranging from 25 sqm Superior Rooms to a 155 sqm Penthouse Suite, with the top two floors hosting smaller layouts that can combine into top-floor residences. Breaking away from traditional layouts, rooms are accessed via shared cul-de-sac corridors that maximize interior square footage. The spaces are designed as an interconnected series of scenes—a suite en suite en suite—separated by sheer curtains, a brass tube shelving system, and one-way mirrors rather than solid architectural walls. This fluid alignment heightens the concept of reveal and seduction, offering fleeting glimpses into consecutive spaces that entice guests to explore and uncover what is yet to be found in the next room. Entering through a central vestibule with a full-height mirror wardrobe cabinet, guests find a dark, marble-tiled bathroom on one side accessed through a black wooden portal with narrow French doors. On the other side, an identical portal opens to the bedroom, framed by a brass shelving system that integrates black lacquered storage boxes for a minibar, glassware, and a rotating TV. The living area is furnished with marble coffee tables, a lounge chair, and a bespoke ottoman over a black wooden parquet floor lined with white wood paneling, mirrors, and an art ledge. Positioned symmetrically in front of the window, the bed is framed by a large wooden portal and stands on a golden rug with mismatched bedside tables and reading lights to blend masculine and feminine design cues. Larger room categories elevate the experience with beds on raised platforms, freestanding bathtubs as centerpieces, and expanded bathroom layouts featuring separate toilet vestibules.

The suites feature different topics. Party Suites in different sizes feature bars, DJ tables, large screens and lounge arrangements, they are also equipped with roof decks and outdoor Jacuzzis. The Residences have their own full living rooms and extra-large bathrooms with steam-rooms and freestanding tubs. The two Penthouse Suites on either end of the top floor feel like proper apartments with full-size living room, pool table, bar, freestanding tub, pantry, rotating bed and balconies on either side, one with an outdoor Jacuzzi.

The Spa can be found in the basement. The treatment areas are kept in oak and warm tones, they offer five treatment rooms and a relaxation zone. The dark pool area in black stone features a golden bar & cabana to one side of a extra large jacuzzi and a long couch and projection along the other side of the main space, all under a huge light bulb ceiling. Protected from the buzz, behind the projection wall, the guest can find the dark marble steam room / hammam and sauna that are connected to each other by a maze of showers hidden around stone columns.
