In the heart of Dublin’s neighbourhood The Liberties, concrete designed the interior of Liberties House, a premium co-living development. Blending history, community, and contemporary living, the project reflects the vibrant spirit of The Liberties while offering residents a comfortable and connected way of living.

a landscape for interaction

Shared spaces are central to the design, forming an open, multi-level landscape where natural zoning encourages movement, interaction, and connection. A variety of seating settings, from intimate booths to generous lounges, make the environment adaptable to work, relaxation, or socialising. Residents also have access to the gym, yoga studio, cinema, and game room supporting active and cultural community life.

history meets design

The design is inspired by Dublin’s The Liberties, long known for its independence, creative industries, and vibrant character. Referencing murals, textiles, weaving schools, pubs, and breweries, Liberties House blends heritage with innovation. Murals and tapestries by local artists Sean Atmos and Rachel Tuffy give each space identity and visually connect the spaces.

The apartments turn compact living into an experience of space, comfort, and privacy. Each studio is refined through efficient layouts and a continuous built-in cabinet that works like a Swiss knife: integrating storage, pantry, wardrobe, and bedroom entrance while adding privacy and clear zoning. The result is a home that feels generous despite its scale, with studios from 17 sqm and larger options up to 35 sqm.
