concrete is a partner of Moos since the beginning; co-developing the concept, architecture and branding. The concept of Moos is based on four brand pillars: our crowd, our house, our beliefs and our family.

Moos homes are build for the people who will live there. They envision a world where everyone has a nice, sustainable home; a home to be proud of, where people feel safe and at place, and where they find a vibrant neighborhood around them. Next to the homes, Moos buildings always have a space where residents can come together, collaborate, or throw a neighborhood event in the courtyard. The basis for a community.
moos' house
Moos' house is built with a single system with a variety of layouts and sizes. Whether it stands there for 50 or 5 years, whether built for families, couples, or individuals, every form of living is possible. The building system is fully demountable, allowing to reuse the materials time and time again.
Moos buildings can go up to eighteen floors high, with homes that range from 22 to 110 square meters. The design of the floor plans started from the basic needs of people: a bed, a bathroom, a kitchen. But a house only becomes a home when there is space for personal wishes, which is why all living floor plans are designed to be arranged by the residents themselves.
The freedom of living has been extended to the exterior: with the "see-through" set of the plans every resident will have daylight coming in from two sides and views in multiple directions. The acces deck becomes an extenion of the living space by turning it into a veranda. A great place for the people to meet their neighbours by chance.
All homes are CLT wood structered prefabricated modules, ranging in different sizes from 30 sqm (studio) to 90 sqm, which is the XL four-bedroom apartment.
The homes can stack up to eight floors high buildings. Currently Concrete and Moos are working on an advanced module to create living towers of 20 stories high.

moos' beliefs
Moos’ aim is to solve both the housing shortage and the climate challenge in one go. The solution is already here. With a systemic way of building and focus on value, Moos builds sustainable homes that challenge the status quo. Everything is circular and modular. The homes are built with mainly bio-based materials, feature a smart energy system, and choose robust materials and local producers. Where possible, recycled materials are used.

A radically different housing system isn't created alone. Moos is a team of independent partners. All innovative experts in their own field. Everyone involved is equally responsible for the end result. Together, various disciplines and one goal are represented: to solve the housing shortage in a responsible way. Essential in the collaboration is striving to design for value creation rather than focusing on cost reduction. Innovation, quality, and circularity are the path to cost savings and scalability.
All partners produce the semi-finished products in their own established factories, after which Moos, in close collaboration, assembles a complete home in a single day on the Moos assembly line. The partners bear responsibility for the timely and careful assembly and delivery of their element. Easily scalable and maximum utilization of existing production capacity. Plus, the family remains involved in the usage phase and the reuse phase.
